How long will it take for my order to ship?
- Orders will typically take 2-4 weeks to ship. This timeframe will be impacted by us attending any events, which will cause orders to take slightly longer to be shipped. Prior to us leaving for events a notification will be displayed on the shop page informing you of this disruption.

Why is there a 10% tax on my order?
- Unfortunately due to a recent change to the US duty free threshold any sold goods sent from the UK to the US will incur a 10% tax on the value of the order. This 10% tariff will be paid directly to the US Customs and Border Protection. More information can be found here; www.royalmail.com/usabusinessupdates

How limited is the "limited stock" for goods listed in the shop?
- This generally applies special editions and bespoke merchandise.​​

Special edition books are a limited print run and all have varying stocks remaining due them being sold at events too. Foiled paperbacks have a smaller print run and thus a smaller quantity remaining available for purchase. Once most special editions are sold out, we will not be reprinting them.

Limited merchandise quantities differ drastically... if there's something you want, I would advise getting it whilst it's in stock!

Can I get my book order personalised?
- We will not be offering personalisation for signed books. This is to expedite the process of signing, packing and shipping orders, however mainly this is to manage Katie's hand and wrist injury so she can continue to write and sign books.

Will I get notifications about the progress of my order?
- After your order has been packed you will receive an email with shipping confirmation from our website, with a link to your tracking information. Once your order has been collected by our courier, Royal Mail, you should receive tracking updates from them too. If you're ordering from outside of the UK, once Royal Mail transfers your order to the local courier you'll be able to track it with the same tracking number on the local courier's website. Royal Mail should have a link attached to their tracking page which will go the local courier's tracking page.

My Cirque Obscurum special edition arrived with scuff marks on it.
- This is not damage to the book, this is the intended design. It's supposed to have scuffs on the cover to give a distressed look. Please don't try to rub the marks off, this will damage the cover.

My order has not arrived or has arrived damaged. What should I do?
- Please allow up to a month for your order to arrive. Make sure to continue to track your order's progress via the provided tracking information. When filling out your shipping address please ensure that you've correctly filled out your address, email and phone number before placing your order. If your order doesn't arrive or arrives damaged please get in contact with us via www.katieknightauthor.com/contact. Minor scratches and dents do occasionally happen with international shipping, however special editions are packed in a thick foam fully encompassing the book, so it should arrive pristine.
